No tools are necessary for assembly. This toilet has few parts and easy to understand design, so 2 adults can assemble it in 15 to 20 minutes.

Advantages offered by the manhole system

In the right conditions, this system can be used hygienically an unlimited number of times. It does not require disposal of waste, and cleaning up after is made easy. Our SHW model can be used with a solid-liquid separation system by attaching a waste tank, when the manhole system cannot be used.

Barrier-free structure designed for people vulnerable to disasters
Aiming for comfortable toilets even in a disaster

The western toilet is made barrier free so that can be easily accessed even in a wheelchair, and spacious enough to turn around inside. Also, by shifting the position of the toilet itself from the center, we have made it easier for an assistant to help move between the wheelchair and the toilet seat. To improve ventilation and lighting, we used mesh material for the upper part and the lower left and right parts of the tent entrance.

Based on lessons learned from past disasters, we have chosen tent materials that shields more than 99.9% of light, so that the silhouette of the user does not appear on the tent when the interior is lit at night. There is no need to worry about someone opening the door by accident, because we use a full knob-type lock that can easily be locked by anyone with one hand.
